Habitat for Humanity Build Day

When:  Oct 2, 2009 from 08:15 AM to 04:00 PM (ET)
Associated with  Mid-Atlantic

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter is proud to support Habitat for Humanity. On October 2, 2009 the Mid-Atlantic Chapter's Young Leader Team is hosting a Build Day. This project is unlike other Habitat projects because it is focused on sustainability. The house will use practices to reduce waste and long-term energy consumption, improve indoor air quality and utilize more durable building products. In order to participate in this build, the chapter must raise $5000.

Event details: The location of the build will be the cross streets of 55th and Clay Street NE, between 54th and 55th in Washington, DC.

Time: Volunteers need to be on location by 8:15am and will be done by 4:00pm.
