This workshop will be presented by Marty Finkle, CPT, CEO of Scotwork (NA) Inc., a negotiation consulting and training practice. He will give you eight key tips to be successful in negotiating with your facilities department, leaders in your corporation, co-workers, internal and external clients, vendors, or your significant other in your professional and personal life. They are practical tips to be successful in; gaining funding, marketing, and position in the organization, time commitments, people commitments, or whatever you negotiate. Through stories and real world examples, you will gain practical ideas on how to trade better in your negotiations.

2. Understand there is a map of the negotiation landscape
3. The advantage of having Wish & Concession lists

5. Ask better questions to gain insight to information to resolve conflict or negotiate better
6. Understand how to use Proposals to move things on
7. How to think creatively about the variables to trade in conflict or negotiation situations
8. Put a price on demands in order to stop giving away something for nothing and getting what you want or need to effectively run you department and you lives
The workshop is enhanced by stories and pictures through PowerPoint and drawings that allow people to learn through humor and parable. They will have practical business and personal insights and tips to be able to use immediately following the workshop.
The workshop will be related to the issues that come up in the normal course of the participant’s days. They will be able to handle the preparation for negotiation and be able to relate this to both business and personal situations.
